Eco-Logic Resort is a family-friendly nature retreat located in the middle of the jungle, in Paksong, Thailand. The closest town is Ranong.

Eco-Logic is located in a beautiful area, the gateway to the south of Thailand for both east and west coast onward travels. Eco-Logic is on a beautiful route from coast to coast, surrounded by mountains and rain forests. Even though we are quite far off the beaten tourist track, getting here is nevertheless easy.
You have to travel to the village of Pak Song (Phato municipality). Even though we are officially in Chumpon Province, Chumpon city is 180 kilometers away. The city of Ranong (45 km) on the west coast is nearest.

How to get here
Traveling SOUTH from Bangkok
BUS

From Bangkok, you travel to Ranong (West coast) at least one day ahead.

Regular buses leave Bangkok from the Southern Bus Terminal in the morning and evening.

From Ranong bus station you can travel towards Paksong (see instruction below) Ranong is about 50km from Paksong.

Travel time by bus from Bangkok to Ranong is ca. 10 hours.
PLANE

From Don Muang airport in Bangkok, you can fly to Ranong airport. Nok Air and Air Asia fly daily.

There are no regular taxis at the small Ranong airport but we can organize a transfer from the airport for you. Its only a 20 minute drive up into the mountains! Please let us know your arrival time at least one day ahead in order to arrange a local driver for you!

Traveling NORTH from Phuket I Krabi I Khao Lak
BUS

From Southern Thailand, you travel to Ranong (west coast) by bus.

Buses leave from the bus terminals towards Ranong.

The bus trip takes about 3 hours (Khao Lak), 5 hours (Krabi) and 6-7 hours (Phuket) with a VIP bus. Local buses take much longer.

The best choice is to take an early morning VIP bus from the local busstation towards us, due to our check-in times.

Once in Ranong bus station you can travel towards Paksong (see instruction below)

Ranong is about 50km from Paksong.
NOTE: You can consider leaving the bus 25km before Ranong, at the Ratchakrud intersection (T-section highway 4 and N4006 road). We can organize a taxi from there to the resort. It will save you a lot of travel time and waiting for the bus transfers.
AIR

Please know that although Asia Air offers flights from Krabi and Phuket to Ranong, that these flights have a stop over in Bangkok and take over 5 hours! There are NO direct flights to Ranong from Southern Thailand.

Traveling WEST from Surat Thani I Chumpon
BUS

Coming from Chumpon, you can take a minivan or bus from the bus station towards Ranong.

The best choice is to take an early morning bus due to our check-in times.

Once in Ranong bus station you can travel towards Paksong (see instructions below)

Ranong is about 50km from Paksong.

Travel time from Chumpon to Ranong is ca. 3 hours.

Coming from Surat Thani, you can take a bus or minivan from the Seatran Coach Bus Terminal in Surat Thani town direction Ranong city. The best choice is to take an early morning bus due to our check-in times.

The buses and minivans from Surat Thani travel via the N4006 road and pass Pak Song village where we are located. You can inform the driver to stop in Pak Song (on the N4006 road).

There is a little waiting area there where you can sit.

If you let us know your estimated arrival time beforehand, we will pick you up there on the main road and bring you to Eco-Logic.

Travel time from Surat Thani to Pak Song is ca. 3,5 hours.
AIR

There are no flights to Ranong from Eastern Thailand.

Traveling EAST from Ranong
BUS

From the Ranong bus station, you can take a morning bus, destination Surat Thani town and/or Hadyai.

Or take a minivan (until 16.00 o’clock) destination Surat Thani town.

Once in the right bus or minivan inform the driver to let you out in Pak Song.

You have to get out of the bus on the main road (N4006), close to a T-intersection in Pak Song.

THIS IS OUR MEETING/PICK UP POINT!

If you get there, find yourself a place to sit, while you wait for us to pick you up.

We have a free transfer from there from 8 AM to 6 PM

if you arrive early in the morning, you can also choose to walk over the bridge, turn left down the road for ca. 15 minutes, there are signs directing you to Eco-Logic.

Once at our premises, take the road up to our restaurant, you can wait for our staff there (around 8 o'clock).

If you want us to pick you up, please let us know beforehand what time you will be at the meeting point.

Traveling on, leaving Eco-Logic
Traveling SOUTH from Bangkok
When leaving Eco-Logic, we can transfer you for free to the main road at 11 o'clock. Or we can organize transport at different times and different places (see below).
TRAVELLING EAST
(LANG SUAN, SURATHANEE, KOH SAMUI, KOH TAO, KOH PHANGNAN)
You can travel to the east coast by bus or minivan from Paksong. Buses arrive around 7 and 11 o'clock am. Minivans leave every hour until 3 o'clock and need to be reserved.
(CHUMPON, HUA HIN)
Take a minivan or bus from Ranong (see below).
Or take a train from Lang Suan (check the website of Thai Railways for the time table of the trains).
TRAVELLING WEST
(RANONG)
You can flag down the Hadyai bus towards Ranong in Paksong around 14.00 o'clock.
Or we can organize a taxi towards Radchakrud (and local transport from there) or a taxi to Ranong busstation or the Koh Phayam/Chang pier.
TRAVELLING NORTH
(BANGKOK)
Buses leave to Bangkok in the morning and evening from Ranong (ca. 8 o'clock am and 8 o'clock pm) from the bus station.
Tickets can be bought at the busstation.
Fly from Ranong airport to Bangkok. Check the airlines schedule for departure times. We can organize a transfer to the airport.
TRAVELLING SOUTH
(PHUKET, KRABI, KHAO LAK, PHANGA, TRANG)
Take the afternoon bus (1400 o'clock) or organise a taxi towards the Radchakrud intersection. You can flag down any of the buses from the Radchakrud intersection going south. Change bus - if necessary - in Takua Pa busstation.
(HADYAI, SONGKLAH, MALAYSIA)
Take the 11 oclock bus from Paksong to Hadyai.
Or travel to Lang Suan (see above) and travel by train.
